About my car

My 2004 40th was getting old to me, and I was in the market to replace it. Of course, like all Ford guys, I've always wanted a Shelby, but was actually looking for a 2011-12 Coyote. So it's February, and I pull into the Buick ( I can't make this up) dealership, and see this. The first word out of my mouth was "mine!" That was before I got out of my car. Then I noticed the staggered Shelby wheels and Baer big brakes. The paint was very nice, and the car was obviously loved. Inside, was a Kenwood Excelon Navi face, and an odometer that read a mere 25k miles. Wow! Opening the hood revealed an Edelbrock EForce supercharger, and caused me to start trembling and sweating. After accidentally spinning through 2nd and 3rd gears, of course I bought it. The best part? I'm not sure the dealer knew exactly what they had, and a deal was easily struck. Today, she has 40k miles and is driven daily...by a very happy man. I've met hundreds of great people through her, and discovered the joys of turning. We've made a few Tail of the Dragon runs, several spirited mountain runs, and even won a couple of trophies in shows. Love at first sight is real!
