About my car

The Jeep: My Jeep is mostly stock drivetrain and cosmetically wise. Things I have done are, 1.5" JKS shackle lift in the rear to help with all the weight I carry back there, added a JCR Offroad roof rack to help on the long trips, also has a custom bumper I build with my father for it, a nice bumping system, CB radio, and is running on 235/75R15 (29") Goodyear Duratracs, which are real good tires for a stock height XJ, both in the use of on and off road. I get roughly 18-21 MPG going down the highway and 13-16 MPG in city. It really is a great Jeep. More upgrades are coming soon.

Story: I bought this Jeep in late May 2014 to replace my (wrecked, hit a deer) Grand Cherokee. I bought this XJ with half the miles (124k) for the money I got out of my WJ (241k) from insurance. Since then I slowly got it up to my par level doing repairs to the suspension, motor, car audio, and interior. In late 2014 I started taking road trips, and have done so often since. On September 4th, 2017 Brick was hit by a red light runner, and then was mended throughout the month to her former glory, but with a few new things as well. As of October 2017 Brick was at 168k. January 5th, 2018, she was at 173.5k. January 25th, 2019, she was at 189.4k

Sound System: Subwoofers are, 2 x 10" Boston Acoustics G5 Subs, 2 x 10" Boston Acoustics Radiators, housed in custom build, stained cabrinet red, birch ply sealed 1.1 cubic foot enclosure. Speakers are, Boston Acoustics Pro50se nuedymium components in front and Boston Acoustics SR50 neodymium coax in back. Amps are, Boston Acoustics GT2300 for lows and GT475 for mids and highs. Deck is, a Kenwood Kdc x998. Wires, Power, and Connections are, Monster 300 series RCAs for signal (one 4 channel, one 2 channel), Audioquest type 2 for speaker level, Stringer Audio 4 guage for my power and grounds, 5 farad Stringer cap, and a JL Audio maxi-fuse block at the split of power.
