Ford Maverick Land Shark

About my car

You may recognize this car from Roadkill.com, Roadkill Magazine, the Roadkill Facebook page, and maybe a few other sources... Here's my story, and don't forget to vote for me for Car Of The Day!

I bought this car (my first and only car!) on April Fools Day, Almost 4 years ago. Always wanted a fast, loud, cool muscle car, but could never afford anything like that, so I started to build my own. I picked a car with great lines and style, and went from there. I hand painted the shark teeth after seeing an A-10 Warthog, I thought it was the perfect look. I wanted to be mean looking, I wanted to be different. It became the Land Shark.

This car has taught me everything I need to know about older cars, and is a bonding tool for my dad, my brother, and most recently my girlfriend and I... the only people I have left. I knew getting this car to where I want it to be is still going to be a tough road, but I've already driven halfway down it, and I've still got the pedal to the floor.

It's a 3.3L Inline 6, 200 Cubic Inch 120 HP 198 TQ
