Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme
About my car
This Cutlass came into my family when my Dad purchased it in1980 when he purchased it and took it to Maine as a Summer beach and cruiser. It was only driven between June and September then garaged the rest of the year. Upon his passing in 1998 I traded a pocket watch to the Estate in return for the car.
In 2000 I brought it back to PA. After driving it and enjoying it for two years I started what would be a restoration journey that would last almost 8 years. Doing one item a year starting with the body, Viking blue with hand laid white stripes, with Blue pearl clear coat.
Then engine, a 350 V-8 bored .30 over and sleeved. It runs with a Q jet 4 BBL, Thorton split exhaust manifold mated to Pypes dual polished stainless ( engine to tail ) exhaust. Next was White vinyl convertible top, and after that the white Strato Bucket seat with center consul interior. Next two years was rewiring the harnesses then the frame and suspension.
I've been showing it since 2006 and it has won many local and national awards. One final note, this car has not been garaged since the 2000, and is a driver !
