Fire fire fire
It happened, I didn't check on some wiring that one of my children did. Never had an issue before to where I thought I needed to double check the work. A power wire through the firewall without a grommet and the coating on the wire was split. Just upgraded fuel injectors to some 4 hole injectors to keep up with the motor that I have built, now redoing some. The fuel that was wiped up but, the spark from the wire when the toggle switch was flipped hit the fumes from the gas that was lost from disconnecting the fuel line ignited and I'm glad I was driving in front of a glass front building and saw the flames in the fender. Of course I didn't have an extinguisher, I did have a couple gallons of water. I had the fire out before the fire department showed up. Lost most of the vacuum lines and have had to replace a lot of the sensors and wiring to them. Gave me a chance to do a little more upgrades so I suppose it wasn't too bad. Ok, it sucks and with it winter I haven't been able to finish up totally yet. I will let you know when I get the truck fired back up and going again. Should be soon. A couple more parts yet to show up.
