Custom cold air intake in the 1955 Chevy

After the LS3 swap the tuner discovered the air was a bit hot under the hood and the ECU was pulling 7 degrees of timing out when up to temp during high rpm. I decided I would make a custom cold air intake and turn it through the fender and behind the headlight. I built a aluminum shield to block the filter from the tire. I used 4” dump truck exhaust pipe and did a little welding. I painted it with silver base and clear and it turned out ok. Definitely got some cold air now!
