Carbon Miata Spyder Grill Install

I was planning on installing one of these sooner or later. It makes the ND looks aggressive! Luckily I got a good deal on a used one. Hardest part of the install was taking the front bumper off and disconnecting the Fang DRLS. The clips holding on the wiring were to hard to remove so I just unscrewed the fangs and removed them from the front bumper. To remove the factory grill I had to cut it from the upper bumper support with a dremel. Spyder grill snaps into place. I ran the wires up by the radiator in the front and then plugged the connectors into the AC power and tail light fuses in the engine fuse box. My car has the sound tube so I had to make a hole in the fire wall area where the wiring harness goes into the car. If your car doesn't have a sound tube you can use that hole in the fire wall for that. Then instead of drilling a hole in the dash for the switch I just zip tied it to the bottom of the hood release. Not the prettiest but out of the way and didn't have to destroy my dash. Over all glad I did it! Makes the car look incredible at night!

Total Cost: $200
