Driveshaft Replacement

So the adventure began when I dropped my Jeep off at a friends place for storage before I left for Officer Training School in 2016. Upon return, I picked my Jeep up and something stole the driveshaft out of it.

I searched the web for a replacement. I found someone on a Jeep Facebook page I follow who removed his old one and was giving it away for free. He sent it to me in the mail but I still sent him $50.00 for his time and courtesy.

When I got it, I sized it up and it was too long. Dang...almost there. After some research I found a Driveshaft shop in town. They specialize in resizing and turning drive shafts. After sending it to Driveline, and another $105.00 I got it with new U joints and a resize with a fresh paint job!

Now she is in and waiting for the next steps!

Total Cost: $155
