Back at the tuners .....

Took the Camaro to the tuners and hopefully it'll be a while before I need to take her back. As I posted before, after the install of my CAI, had to take her for a tune "touch-up" and made an impressive 597 RWHP !! But, there was a problem. During the dyno run Scott (my tuner guy) had to abort a full pull due to the fact that the fuel system was being over-taxed. At right around 5,500 RPM she was runnin' outta fuel, he went ahead to 6,500 RPM and then aborted the pull to avoid damaging the motor. Scott told me Dean I got good and bad news, she's makin' almost 600 to the ground but you're gonna have to spend some more money (the bad news). So Scott explained to me what was happening and told me we need to upgrade the injectors to 80# and also add a "On Demand Boost-a-Pump" to correct the issue. AAAHHHGGG !! More money !!! LOL. There is however a silver lining to this cloud, Scott explained that he's thinkin' over 600 RWHP with this latest mod !! OKAY !! That makes it hurt a lot less. I'll be makin' an up-date post when I get her back and give the numbers. Until then waiting somewhat impatiently .... lol

Total Cost: $1,200
