I'm back and I'm not dead 

My first thought when I saw this page in my bookmarks was oh dang, I forgot this existed, and my second thought was oh crap, people actually are following my build.
Well I would feel like a sleazeball if I didn't at least let those who maybe still are paying attention to this build what's been going on the past year or so.
Well long story short I'm out of the Army now which has been both a blessing and a curse at times it seems and secondly some actual progress has been made on the truck so let me give you a basic rundown on what's been happening.
It's broken a number of times various things, one tracing back to one incident I elaborated on in one of my posts.
I've had to replace the timing components because the seals on the tensioners blew out despite everything else being fine, I just replaced the transfer case, I got an SCT tuner for it with a tune from 5 Star Tunes, I've completely redone the exhaust to a true dual with an X pipe, replaced both manifolds, installed lockouts in the cams, bought some 4.56 gears, and at this moment bought a set of Comp Cams Mutha Thumpr stage 2 cams.
In short that's what's been going on. It's moving along again finally in what seems like forever as I try to get my life straightened out post military. I've changed my idea slightly on what I want to do and have ironed out the details much more than I had in the past.
In short what you can expect when it's done is an all out balls to the wall raptor slayer. In essence the goal (a really high one) is to turn this truck into one that can beat a raptor at everything. We are talking about an 800 horsepower V8 monster with the goals of being able to do 140 mph on the road and 120 out in the desert.
Essentially a street-able Baja truck that's not fully done out like one but has most of the capabilities of one while still being able to be driven on the road and not need a helmet, communications, and a flame retardant suit. You get the idea.
