New Years Road Trip to Lancaster, PA
My trip from Cape Girardeau, MO, to Lancaster, PA. I hit I-57 N towards Chicago, and hit I-70 E to Indianapolis, IN, to Columbus, OH, where I landed at my first half of the trip. I then traveled the second half of the trip two days later, the night before it dropped 3 inches of snow on our whole route going East. We simply took our time and got to Lancaster, PA Via I-70 E and the Penn State Turn Pike. No major problems minus a rear wiper blade failure. We went to an August Burns Red concert and had a blast. Then Sunday (new years eve) we turned around and returned to Columbus. And on the second I returned home following the same route through Indianapolis and I-57. When comparing this I-70 route to the Louisville and Cinncinati I-71 route, I would say I prefer the the I-70 route, it is much smoother and less headache at the major hubs.
