Knoxville, TN and Charlotte, NC Road Trip
This trip was full of fun at every turn (and at every hill in this case), it was also my first full fledged trip with my cousin Ryan. I had never been to Knoxville and never been to Charlotte, so I decided to give them both a shot on this trip. I first drove to Knoxville (380 Miles) on Friday night from my home in Missouri. Saturday we went offroading in the NW Knoxville area and had a blast, the trails were just right for the Cherokee, I was also accompanied by my friend Keith in his JKU. Sunday I ate brunch in downtown and then traveled to Charlotte through the Great Smokey Mountains on I-40. I went to a concert in the NE area of Charlotte, and immediately turned around and traveled through a rain storm heading back to Knoxville. I slept at a rest stop about halfway back to Knoxville and then finished the trip throughout the rest of Monday, only to take a brief stop at 4 wheel parts in Nashville, TN. Ultimately ending back up home in Cape Girardeau, MO that night. Jeep ran 1400 miles on the trip and got an average of 17.8 MPG.
