After much ado
I did research, tire reviews, created a poll on social media and thought about it. I was looking for a aggressive tire, that wasn't noisy, like a mud terrain. I like the look of M/T's but knowing I also do lots of highway driving, i wanted something with better wear and manors. Of course the next decision was size. I already knew I wanted my tires to make a statement aout my truck, so I decided on doing 35/12.50/17, which means I will have to do some work after the install to make them not rub. Trimming plastic fenders and possibly chopping back the body mount, at the back inner fender. This is not a safety concern, since they put way to much steel in front of the actual mount, so this is just giving it a lose beard trim, relatively speaking. The tire I chose is the Nitto Ridge Grappler. I would call it an aggressive all terrain. i also decided on Gorilla ET splined Splined lugs (not pictured). The advantage is, they are quality lugs, splined to a specific keying with a socket, black and the ET part means they are extended shaft length to help center the wheel for a better fit for balancing . They actually balanced out, first time. The ride is great with just a little road noise.
