496 RAT 

I built PASSIONs 496 from a GM 454 block and a Balanced rotating assembly with Eagle 4.25 Crankshaft, Scat 6.385" Rods, and SRP 13/1 forged pistons. The Camshaft is a Comp Camaro .650 lift Solid flat tappet and opens the valves on a set of #990 GM cast Rectangular port heads fed by a DAVINCI Dominator E85 Carburetor on a Team G intake and relieved by HOOKER Competition Headers.

All this registers at 800 horsepower and propels PASSION to 1.36 second 60' times, 6.34 second 107 mph 1/8th mile and 10.22 second at 133mph 1/4 mile passes.

Decided to replace the cam, lifters, timing chain, manifold, valve covers and add EFI! Nothing wrong with upgrades since it's torn apart. Woot!

What I did today ! I cussed it till I ran out of breath. I did a full tune up, changed oil and paid to have the point and distributor serviced...
