Installed new fuel pump/float
I installed a new fuel pump with a float (in gas tank),cause my gas needle wasn't working properly, even after I installed a new anti-slosh module. Anyway, that is the first new fuel pump I have installed since I bought it in June, 1992 in Hancock County, Mississippi, wow. I also installed a new IAC valve and New TPS. Going to install a new Cruise Control Speed sensor on third manual transmission, so I can continuing cruising The Coast in the spring. The anti slosh module is installed behind the cluster, it helps the gas gauge keep from sloshing around when you go up hills, around curves, etc. see picture of cluster and module. It is installed behind the cluster on left side on this explorer, if the slosh module is defective, your gas gauge will not work like it should or may not work at all even if you install a new fuel pump with attached float. Lil Man has had replacement parts through the years, but vehicles are like people, when we start getting older, we have to have regular maintenance to continue our journey, just part of life. That is the way it is with vehicles. I thought about selling Lil Man for about $3500, but I decided to keep him for now. I Installed a new A/C in January, all new parts, I mean from the ground up, hoses, evaporator, orifice tube, compressor, high pressure hose, all the little fittings, etc. I am a ASE certified MVAC person. The air is so cold, fantastic. My engine light comes on after about ten minutes or so and it stays on until I should it off, but there is nothing wrong with the engine. It runs like a purring kitten. I think I need to reset the code on computer or get new CPU. I might even sell Lil Man for the right price, loll. Get me a Chevy S-10?
