Fuel Pump & Fuel Filter

I was able to do some wrenching on the old girl over Fathers Day week. My dad was In town and we worked on it together. Objective was to get it running. So we started with bleeding the clutch Master Cylinder. Then we wanted to see if it would start. So we cranked her over and we knew it wasn't getting fuel because we could dump some through the carb and it would run a few seconds. First time in 13 years she has had fuel running through her body!

So we found the fuel pump had failed over time, then the fuel filter was dried up. Of course our fuel lines were so dry rotted we took those off and replaced them too!

So I'm currently with the Fuel Tank out with new parts for fuel pump and fuel filter installed. Hopefully make some more progress on it this weekend. Stay tuned!!
