After a long winter and a very soggy early spring I needed to spruce up my 2006 Mustang GT Premium, The Red Baron, in preparation for the upcoming show car season. Now that I'm retired I do professional auto & truck detailing. The products I use will depend on the needs and usage of the clients vehicle. I use different products on show cars versus daily drivers. I use many products from Griot's Garage including their 6" and 3" ordital polishers and clay barring products. I used Griot's Engine Degreaser and their Engine Detailer to clean my engine and engine compartment. I used Croftgate USA Wash & Wax along with a Griot's Garage Synthetic Clay Bar to clean the exterior paint. I then applied Croftgate Project X, a paint enhancing polish, and Croftgate Quick & Slick polish with my orbital polisher to enhance and darken my paint and create a long lasting protective finish on the paint. I cleaned my 19" 2010 Mustang GT wheels with Croftgate's Multi-Clean cleaner and polished the wheels with Quick & Slick. Dirt, oil and other debris will hardly stick to the Quick & Slick and the little that does stick easily wipes off. I used Meguiar's Tire Gel on my 19" Goodyear Eagle RSA tires. I used Croftgate's Rejuvenator on my Plexiglass Bug Guard to restore its dark finish. I have a couple of photos showing the area of the bug guard protected versus the untreated area for comparison.
