Just back from a 2057 mile round trip to Key West.

And what a great trip it was! The car averaged 25.5 miles per gallon, even loaded with luggage and two passengers. The only negative was an 11:30pm flat tire 40 miles south of Kissimmee. From that, I learned that I didn't have a spare tire, and that many new cars don't come equipped with one. Fortunately, Ford covered the cost of the 40 mile tow to Mullinax Ford in Kissimmee. Mullinax Ford had the new tire brought over from their warehouse and had it mounted, balanced, and ready to go by 12:00pm the next day. I have never been more impressed with a service department.

To say the very least, this is a great car. It's comfortable, loaded with great features, and the overall performance is exactly what I was looking for. If you take long trips and love adventure touring, it would be hard to beat, and that's before one considers the relatively low cost of the 5.0 Mustang.
